July 30th, 2009

Just finished an amazing night shoot on the Playground mini ramp.

One of the main goals I have set for myself this summer, is to show the viewer a new perspective of camp. I thought it would be neat to give the famous, "Playground mini ramp" a new look by shutting down all the lights, besides the use of one flood light.

This would create some really cool shadows and silhouettes. As well as produce something a little different compared to most Woodward edits.

Metty and I brought Ben Hatchell, Corey Rubin, and Josh Maready to this shoot. I could not have asked for better skaters to work with. Because Metty left around midnight, I was left directing the crew of three into the early hours of the morning. Needless to say, everyone held their own, and gave an incredible amount of cooperation through out the entire night.

Stay posted for the footage coming later this week!
